Pearl barley with chanterelles and leek

Ingredients
- Barley groats –
- Chanterelle –
- Leek –
- Garlic –
- Thyme –
- Black pepper –
- Optional salt –
- Cheese –
Cooking instructions
- Cut leek.
- Prepare chanterelles: clean, rinse, and cut.
- Fry the leek and garlic on a pan, add the chanterelles and fry briefly (about 2 min.).
- Add the pearl barley, fry for a while stirring constantly.
- Pour a glass of water (or broth, if you have one). Replenish water absorb by barley as necessarily. Continue for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, add thyme and pepper.
- Serve sprinkled with grated cheese.
