Cooking instructions

  • Chops
    • Mix minced meat with grated carrot and eggs in a bowl.
    • If the consistency of the mix is too loose add semolina.
    • Add salt, black pepper, sweet pepper, and oregano.
    • Form cutlets and fry them in coconut oil without breading.
  • Cabbage roll
    • Put cabbage for a few minutes in boiling water so it would soften. Cut out hard parts of the leaves.
    • Stuffing: stew onion with mushrooms, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, carrot, dried tomatoes, and barley groats.
    • Roll cabbage, transfer cabbage rolls to a casserole dish.
    • Mix tomato passata with a little bit of milk or Greek yogurt. Add spices and herbs. Add sauce to the casserole dish.
    • Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
